PROBLEM:
Retail environments like WHSmith, InMotion, and Londis rely heavily on consistent, on-brand visuals to guide customers and support promotions. Each store varies in layout, scale, and location, from high street shops to airport and travel, making the rollout of effective POS a logistical and creative challenge. Tight turnarounds and varied asset sizes demand a high level of precision, adaptability, and design consistency.
SOLUTION:
As a Creative Artworker, I handled the full process—from concept to final artwork. I designed and adapted POS materials across all formats, including shelf strips, mega deals, hanging signs, window vinyls, hoardings, fascia designs, and in-store navigation. For WHSmith and InMotion, I worked closely with the senior marketing manager, using store elevations to plan and create each visual element. I also edited 3D renders and ensured final files met all pre-press and material specifications. Every piece was crafted using Adobe Creative Suite, under strict brand guidelines and deadlines.
RESULTS:
POS visuals were successfully rolled out across national and international WHSmith and InMotion locations, including high-traffic airports. The consistency and quality of execution led to long-term collaboration—these remain returning clients over multiple years. My ability to manage fast-paced, multi-format projects helped strengthen their in-store branding and improved visual cohesion across retail spaces.
